5 years young - and just getting started 🎂🥳

5 years ago, in April 2020, we launched Origin. It was the depth of the pandemic, and we didn’t know what the next month would hold, let alone the next 5 years.

But we had BIG dreams. Dreams born from personal experience—both my co-founder Nona Farahnik and I had experienced firsthand the transformative impact of expert pelvic floor physical therapy. We recognized something that was missing in the healthcare system: highly specialized care that women desperately needed but couldn't easily access.

We dreamed of having clinics and virtual care across the country to help folks wherever they lived. We dreamed of getting to work with the most amazing PTs in the industry. And we dreamed of making pelvic floor and women’s health PT affordable and accessible to millions because for far too long, these critical services have been out of reach for so many.

I am having a pinch me moment now that this big dream is a reality — with 18 clinics, virtual care nationwide, tens of thousands of patients treated, and millions who have accessed our free education. Plus, we are making this care affordable and in-network, with 96% of patients using insurance and paying less than $25 per visit (one tenth what it otherwise costs folks).

In this time, our clinical team has grown from just 3 to a powerful national network of women's health experts. We've become the trusted provider for treating issues that affect millions of women but frequently go unaddressed in the traditional healthcare system.

We've also played a significant role in normalizing taboo conversations around pelvic and women’s health. Through partnerships with influential voices like Origin patient and advisor Ilana Glazer, publishing over 330 evidence-backed blog articles, and reaching millions of women through social media, we're giving women and all people reliable information they've traditionally had nowhere to turn for.

There is so much to celebrate, and we would not be here today with you: our team, our patients, and our community of supporters and partners.

There is also so much work ahead.

We believe in a world in which pelvic floor and women’s health PT is the standard of care across the country. We believe every woman should have access to the care they need to feel good in their bodies.
