It’s Convenient

No need to take time commuting to our office. You can also skip the extra childcare. We can work around real life.

It’s Comfortable

Stay in your space. This also helps us see how you move throughout your day, whether it’s picking up a baby or sitting at your desk.

It’s Supportive

We’ll focus on whatever you need most in the moment so that you leave every session feeling better in your body.

A Simple Way to Stay Healthy

"Working with a therapist at the first signs of anything — like back pain when emptying the dishwasher or painful sex once in a blue moon — gives patients the best shot at keeping that small issue from becoming a big one. With virtual care, it’s now possible for patients to reach out any and every time they notice those first signs. They don’t have to disrupt their whole lives to get some answers and solutions."
- Dr. Celestine Compton, PT, DPT

Results You Can Feel

We’ve helped 30,000+ women and individuals with vaginal anatomy feel better in their bodies. That’s why 96% of patients recommend Origin to a friend or family member. Here’s what our virtual customers are saying.

“I don’t even want to imagine a time when I can’t work with my PT.”
“It’s glorious and so easy, I don’t have to think and I’ve noticed a difference.”
“It felt like my PT really cared — like I really mattered to her.”

About Origin

Our mission is to help women and all individuals with (or transitioning to) vaginal anatomy feel their best, through every stage of life. We actively listen to our patients, trusting their wisdom about their own bodies. Through online or in-person assessment, we provide expert insight into their symptoms. And, together, we co-create a care plan, rooted in evidence and designed to get results.

Real Talk FAQs

What should I wear?

Wear clothing that you can move in. Shorts and tank tops make it easiest for your therapist to see relevant body parts and muscles.

Where do I need to be?

Choose a room that is well-lit and has enough space for you to fully stretch out on the floor.

What equipment will I need?

For your first session, you may not need anything at all, but showing your therapist what you have (yoga mat, weights, bands, foam rollers, etc) will help them build your custom program.

Can my baby be with me?

Yes! Sometimes we can use your child as a weight or to practice safe lifting and carrying strategies. But, we also encourage you to give your body the full kid-free attention it deserves, if you can.

Will my Zoom be secure?

Yes, virtual sessions with your pelvic floor physical therapist are HIPAA compliant and will never be recorded.

How do you do a pelvic floor exam virtually?

You will never be asked to show your vulva on Zoom. In some cases, your therapist may offer to verbally guide you through self-exam or you can choose to do a self exam between visits. Your comfort is our priority.
