Over the past year at Origin, our team has been heroically working with insurance companies to increase access to women’s health physical therapy. This work continues to be critical given the reality that most pelvic floor PTs working outside of hospital systems are unable to take insurance, making affordable whole-body care for women incredibly difficult to find.

Today, we couldn’t be more excited to announce a very big win: We now accept Kaiser Permanente at our in-person clinics in Los Angeles and San Diego. 

We’re particularly proud to be in-network with Kaiser because Origin was founded in Los Angeles just four and a half years ago. As the largest payor in Los Angeles and San Diego, accepting Kaiser brings us up to 13 million covered lives in our home state, and Origin is now in-network for 50 million people nationwide.  

Offering treatment for often overlooked issues related to pregnancy, postpartum, menopause, and sexual health, Origin physical therapists take a holistic approach to care, helping patients reconnect with their bodies, heal pain and injury, and live their fullest lives — treatment that every woman needs and deserves.
