Do I need a prescription to be seen at Origin?

The short answer is probably.
Most states require you have a prescription (Rx) on file while seeing a licensed physical therapist. Additionally, many insurance plans require you have a Rx in order for them to cover visits (even if the state you live in does not).

- Whether an Rx is required in your state
- If an Rx is required, how much time you'll have to obtain it
- What kind of provider (MD, DO, etc.) is allowed to write one for you
Please note that prescription laws in your stay may be more lenient than the requirements of your insurance plan. If you are going through insurance for your care, contact your insurance company to check additional requirements.
