Dr. Whitney Kim, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
Whitney was born and raised in South Korea and moved to the U.S. in 2017. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Tyler before earning her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis in 2024. Whitney has always been passionate about orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, and during her clinical experiences, she developed a keen interest in pelvic floor health.
Her dedication to pelvic health began during her time as a Pilates instructor, where she noticed many women struggling with pelvic floor issues postpartum. This inspired Whitney to deep into pelvic floor physical therapy. She further advanced her expertise by attaining education scholarship from Global Women’s Health Institute and completing the APTA Pelvic Health Level 1 course during PT school.
Whitney is also trained in the Movement System Impairment (MSI) approach from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, which allows her to take a holistic perspective in diagnosing and treating her patients. She integrates principles of movement and stability from Pilates with her physical therapy background to provide individualized, effective care that optimizes patient outcomes.
Fluent in Korean, Whitney strives to create a culturally sensitive and inclusive space for all her patients.
Outside the clinic, Whitney enjoys staying active through Pilates, working out at the gym, jogging, and going to hip hop dance classes with friends. She also loves exploring new places and unwinding with a good series on Netflix.
