Dr. Sydney Pincus, DPT

She/Her

Physical Therapist

Miami

Hi! My name is Dr. Sydney Pincus, and I am a Pelvic Floor and Pediatric specialist. I am a double cane from the University of Miami with a B.S. in Microbiology and Immunology and a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Having grown up in a household with my grandmother, mother and sister, I have been exposed to women’s health concerns across the age spectrum. My mother has been pregnant 7 times and has been a wealth of knowledge and inspiration throughout my career.

During my studies, I worked at a specialized PT clinic where I had the unique opportunity to interact with world renowned specialists in the treatment of hypermobile spectrum disorder, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and associated diagnoses. I was also chosen on a national scale to work at the sought after St Jude Children’s Hospital in Memphis, TN providing therapy to children with cancer and educating therapists on pediatricpelvic floor considerations.

Following traditional PT schooling, I have pursued continuing education through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute allowing me to treat women with a variety of pelvic floor conditions. My background also includes experience in pilates, barre, and myofascial release. I incorporate these fundamentals as part of my personalized treatment plans with many of my patients.

Since specializing in pelvic floor work, I have treated patients across Miami from Cutler Bay to Miami Beach going through their pregnancy and postpartum journeys as working in schools across Miami with young children with developmental delays and other diagnoses.

I love helping my patients enjoy life again from having pain free intercourse to less leakage to having an enjoyable pregnancy and successful postpartum. My favorite part of my job is being able to empower women to believe in themselves and show the world what they are truly capable of!
