Dr. Paaneri Jethwa PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
My journey as a Physical Therapist began in 2015 when I graduated with my Bachelor of Physical Therapy degree from India. After a year of working there as a Physical Therapist my thirst to learn more was raised which later brought me to California where I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2018. Since then, I have enjoyed working in an outpatient setup in New Jersey where I treated a combination of Musculoskeletal conditions along with pre-and post-natal rehab. Last year I moved to Austin to stay close to my family and I have been working in a similar setup. Meanwhile, I also completed my PCES (Pregnancy and Post-partum Corrective Exercise Specialist) certification to help me have a better understanding of that population.
I believe that the right healing comes from a holistic approach and I usually use a combination of manual therapy, soft tissue manipulation, dry needling, breathing techniques, and the right exercise prescription as a part of my treatment plan. Every individual has the right to enjoy a good standard of health, and I believe that as a Physical Therapist, I can help them in every possible way in my control to make it happen so that they can live with optimal quality of life.
When I am not working, I also enjoy cooking, exploring different trails in Austin, meditating, reading books, painting, and doing small DIY projects. Paaneri is a polyglot in several Indian languages: Hindi, Gujarati, and Marathi.
