Nona Farahnik Yadegar

Nona Farahnik is Co-Founder at Origin. A Los Angeles native, she is currently the Head of Content & Product Policy at Snapchat, and previously led its trust and safety function. In those roles, she has focused on scaling operations and tooling, rolling out global products, and leading a team of over 100 people. A lawyer by training, she started her career as an Associate at Latham & Watkins where she focused on corporate law. Following Latham, she served as the Campaign Manager for Tim Wu's groundbreaking campaign for Lt. Governor of New York.

Nona served as President of Columbia Law School, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and the teaching assistant to Tim Wu, with a focus on technology and telecommunications law. She received her B.A. From Duke University, with a major in Political Science.

Nona is a mentor at the Fulfillment Fund and a board member at Angel City Sports, an organization dedicated to create sports opportunities for adults, children, and veterans with physical differences and impairments.
