Virtual Care

Dr. Nirja Gajjar is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with advanced training in pelvic floor rehabilitation, yoga, and fitness. She specializes in treating vaginismus, urinary incontinence, and diastasis recti, helping women restore strength, confidence, and connection to their bodies.Nirja’s approach integrates evidence-based physical therapy with mindful movement and breathwork, creating a compassionate and empowering space for healing. With a background as both a pelvic floor physical therapist and yoga teacher, she believes in treating the body as a whole—addressing not only the physical symptoms but also the emotional layers that often accompany pelvic floor challenges.

Her passion for this work began after seeing how many women silently struggled with pain, tension, or shame surrounding their pelvic health. Through her practice, Nirja strives to change the narrative—helping her patients understand that pain and dysfunction are not things they have to live with and that recovery is absolutely possible with the right care and support.Nirja loves helping her patients feel seen, heard, and empowered. Whether she’s guiding someone through their first pelvic floor session or helping them return to movement postpartum, her goal is always to blend education with empathy—making every visit a safe, encouraging, and transformative experience. When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll find Nirja walking her dog Jaxson near the beach, hiking local trails, or experimenting with healthy vegetarian recipes inspired by her Indian roots. She also enjoys teaching gentle yoga flows and sharing modern wellness rituals that help women reconnect with their bodies and find balance in everyday life.Nirja is passionate about helping women move beyond survival mode and step into a version of themselves that feels strong, grounded, and free. Her work is rooted in the belief that healing the pelvic floor is not just about the body—it’s about reclaiming power, presence, and pleasure from the inside out.
