Dr. Kristyn Richard, PT, DPT
Clinical Director, Houston
Kristyn graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Sciences in 2009. She then graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Texas Woman’s University in Houston in 2013. While in physical therapy school she completed a rotation in pelvic health at Sullivan Physical Therapy where she began to realize she could make a positive impact on patients’ lives who previously had lost hope. This specialty became more meaningful after she had children and struggled with her own pelvic floor dysfunctions.
Kristyn is eager to provide tailored education in order to empower each patient. She strives to provide evidence-based practice while wanting her patients to feel heard, know any question is appropriate and that their therapist can relate to them. But most of all, Kristyn seeks to make her patients feel comfortable with their particular situation.
Outside of the clinic Kristyn enjoys spending time with her family and friends, trying new foods, yoga, and volunteering for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo with the Wine events committee.
