Physical Therapist Assistant

South Austin

Hello, my name is Hannah Waddell, and I was raised on South Padre Island, Texas. My interest in physical therapy was sparked during my sophomore year of high school, and I've been committed to this field ever since. I graduated in May of 2019, and for the past six years, l've had the privilege of working as a pediatric physical therapist in both home health and outpatient settings.

Throughout my career, l've had the opportunity to work closely with the mothers of my pediatric patients and have become increasingly attuned to the physical challenges these women face during and after childbirth. Over time, l've come to believe that the pain and discomfort many vagina owners experience should never be considered "normal." This realization has fueled my desire to explore ways I can make a difference on the other side of pediatrics-by focusing on maternal health.

My journey has led me to Origin, where I’m excited to blend my experience in pediatric therapy, barre, Pilates, and breathwork with the specialized techniques of pelvic floor physical therapy. My mission is to create a safe, healing space for everyone—whether they have a vagina or not—and empower individuals with the tools they need to live the fulfilling life they deserve.
