She/Her

Physical Therapist

San Francisco

Erica is a proud California native.  She graduated from CSU Monterey Bay with a degree in theater and film in 2004 and completed Monterey Peninsula College’s Massage Practitioner program (340 hours) in 2005.  Still seeking as many varied experiences as she could collect, Erica then traveled internationally, teaching English as a foreign language and performing coral reef transects on Meso-American Barrier Reef.  She found her way to the Bay Area in 2008, where she started working in the spa industry until she was inspired to return to school in 2016 to become a physical therapist assistant.  She graduated first in her class from the College of the Sequoias and immediately began working in out-patient orthopedic clinics in San Francisco.

Erica’s treatment approach has always focused on patient empowerment through education and personal treatments designed around each patient’s unique goals.  She was introduced to Pelvic Floor therapy through Herman and Wallace’s “The Athlete and the Pelvic Floor” and was immediately captivated by the complex and often overlooked role the pelvic floor has in all functions of life.

Erica's other interests include training and teaching capoeira, riding her bike, completing the puzzles in the New York Times, bird watching and photography.
