Dr. Dana Armijo, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
Dana earned her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science at New Mexico State University and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of St. Augustine for Health Science. As a marathon runner, Dana truly appreciates the benefits of living an active lifestyle and became a PT so that she could help others stay active in whatever way they enjoy, whether it’s running, weightlifting, dancing, hiking, or keeping up with the kids in their life.
After seeing too many friends give up the activities they love after giving birth or experiencing pelvic issues, Dana decided to deepen her expertise in pelvic health. Her goal is to ensure that individuals with vaginal anatomy can continue pursuing their passions without being hindered by pain or pelvic health challenges.
As an orthopedic and pelvic floor PT, Dana can treat a wide range of conditions, and especially enjoys working with people managing neurological conditions such as MS, Parkinson's, BG, and CP. She also has a special interest in treating pain, cervicogenic headaches, and TMJ dysfunction.
When not at work, you’ll find Dana training for her next marathon or out traveling the world.
