Dr. Ali Anderson PT, DPT, CAFS, PCES
Physical Therapist
After graduating from UCLA with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology and Integrative Biology, Ali moved to Fresno to work as a high school tennis coach. During that time, she decided that her skills as a coach would be suited for a career in physical therapy. She then earned my Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of St. Augustine of Health Sciences, decided to stay in San Diego and has been working as an outpatient Physical Therapist.
As an outdoor enthusiast, she fully understands maintaining the ability to do the activities you love and enjoy. Each session with her is tailored to each patient’s specific interests and goals, while providing education and skills that can be maintained long after physical therapy has ended. Ali's practice utilizes functional techniques through a Certification in Applied Functional Science (CAFS), in addition to experience with sport specific rehab and injury screening. Realizing that there is a need for women’s health services through friends and patients, she received the PCES – Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist certification to help fill the gap women face in healthcare. She believes in the power of positivity and how commitment from both PT and patient are necessary for optimizing movement for the enjoyment of everyday life. When not in the clinic, you’ll find her surfing, playing tennis or beach volleyball, and camping.
